The Bench Isn't Just for New Builds
Most of what walks through the door with a repair problem doesn't need a fitting session at all — it needs twenty minutes on the bench and someone who knows what a factory-correct repair actually looks like.
Common Bench Repairs
Loose or cracked ferrules, a head that's started to rattle at the hosel, a shaft that's splintered near the tip after a mishit off a cart path, and grips that have hardened past the point of being salvageable — these make up the bulk of what comes across the bench in a given month, and none of them require a full fitting appointment to fix correctly.
Bring the club by during studio hours. Most single-club repairs are quoted on the spot and finished same day; anything needing a special-order part gets an honest turnaround estimate before we start.

We'll Tell You If It's More Than a Fix
Occasionally a repair reveals something the fitting bay would catch anyway — a shaft that was already outside its intended flex range, or a head that's been re-epoxied at the wrong swing weight by someone else. If that's the case we'll say so plainly rather than reassembling a club that was never right to begin with, and you can decide whether a short session makes sense.
